Giving Back

One of the requirements of being an active COBWIS member is to serve the community. You need to have at least five (5) hours by the end of the academic year to be an active member. To be considered for the grant, you need to have at least ten (10) hours. Below are some ways you can obtain these hours!*

*Volunteer opportunities were provided by Volunteer LSU*

LSU Undergraduate students act as reading buddies or Math friends. You practice these skills with struggling pre-k through second-grade students in one-on-one sessions once a week for 30-45 minutes. You can click the title to find out more information. Each meeting is considered "1" volunteer hour. To volunteer, click here.
